Eland Club of Saint Augustine Elks Lodge #829
Established 1938

We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 6:30 pm at the Lodge.

Our mission is to support Elks Lodge #829.  The Eland Club is comprised of a dedicated and awesome group of Lady Elks, spouses of Elks and widows of Elks in good standing.

We have an impressive history of fund raising which in the past has sponsored five St Augustine children to the Florida Elks Youth Camp each summer and have given out scholarships to local students and have donated over $10,000 to charity.

Our main Beneficiaries are the Florida Elks Youth Camp and the Florida Elks Children Therapy Services.  Other Beneficiaries include but are not limited to:

  • Council on aging
  • St. Francis House
  • Betty Griffin House
  • St. Gerard House
  • Kids Bridge

Our primary fund raisers in the past have been:

  • Garage sale in January
  • Past Exalted Ruler Ball
  • Luau dance in June or July

We also provide support to our Lodge throughout the year by assisting with their various activities.

Joining the Eland Club gives you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of many children in our Lodge and Community in which you live.

By joining forces with the Florida Ladies of Elks (FLOE), we have an even greater impact on the lives of Florida’s children. Nationally, the value of the Elks charitable works since their inception in 1868 is valued at more than 4 BILLION dollars.

It’s not all work either! We socialize after meetings, attend the functions at the Lodge and attend visitations and functions at the other Lodges in our District, and of course, support each other in times of trouble.

We meet on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 6:30 pm at the Lodge.
